This Refund and Returns Policy applies to digital PDF manuals purchased from sdfmanuals.com (the “Website”).
1. Digital Products
All products sold on the Website are digital PDF files. No physical product is shipped.
Because a digital file cannot be physically returned after it has been supplied or downloaded, purchases are generally final once delivery or download has begun, subject to your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.
2. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory withdrawal period, you may normally have a right to withdraw from a distance contract.
However, where permitted by applicable law, this right is lost once the supply of digital content begins, provided that before delivery you:
- expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content; and
- acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right of withdrawal once delivery or downloading begins.
Your consent and acknowledgement will be requested during checkout. They do not limit any rights you may have if the supplied file is defective, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to the purchase contract.
3. Choosing the Correct Manual
Before completing a purchase, you are responsible for checking that the manual shown on the product page is suitable for your equipment.
Please carefully verify all available identifying information, including where applicable:
- manufacturer and brand;
- exact model designation;
- model variant or series;
- production year or serial-number range;
- document description and language;
- any compatibility information displayed on the product page.
A refund will not normally be provided merely because you selected the wrong manual, failed to verify the equipment model, no longer need the manual, changed your mind, or expected information that was not included in the product description.
This exclusion applies only where the file supplied is the file described on the product page. It does not apply if we supplied the wrong file or if the product was materially misdescribed.
4. Defective, Corrupted, or Incorrect Files
If a PDF file is corrupted, cannot be opened using compatible PDF-reading software, is incomplete, is the wrong file, or otherwise does not materially conform to its description, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as reasonably possible.
Please include:
- your order number;
- the email address used for the purchase;
- the title of the purchased manual;
- a clear description of the problem;
- where useful, a screenshot of any error message.
We will first attempt to resolve the issue by providing reasonable technical assistance, restoring access, allowing a new download, or supplying a corrected or replacement file at no additional charge.
If we cannot provide a conforming file within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, we will provide an appropriate price reduction or refund as required by applicable law.
5. Failed Delivery and Duplicate Payments
Please contact us if:
- payment was completed but access to the purchased file was not provided;
- you were charged more than once for the same order; or
- the file supplied does not match the item shown in your order confirmation.
We will investigate the transaction and provide access, correct the order, or issue an appropriate refund where the payment or delivery error is confirmed.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be sent to the original payment method through PayPal. We will initiate the refund without undue delay and within any deadline required by applicable law.
The time needed for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on PayPal and your payment provider and is outside our direct control.
7. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer-protection law.
If any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that legal requirement will apply.
